Banning
If Sheffield Licence Watch members wish to ban an individual, the following procedure must be taken:
Sheffield Licence Watch operates a 'banned from one, banned from all' policy
- Ensure you are an up-to-date paid member of Sheffield Licence Watch and that a Disclosure of Information Form has been completed and returned.
- Contact our office to discuss the incident and ask for an Banning Request Form (or download one here)
- Complete the Banning Request Form with as much detail as possible and return to our office. This document is completely confidential and will not be discussed outside the membership.
- Once received the form will be presented to the Sheffield Licence Watch Committee for discussion at the next meeting (if the incident is serious this can be fast tracked)
- Once the committee has made a decision, the individual will be informed by us that a ban is in place and will have 14 days to appeal the decision.
- If after 14 days an appeal has not been received, the photograph will be released to us and placed on the 'gallery of offenders' for circulation at the next general meeting
