Support Services
Sheffield Drugs and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT)
Sheffield DAAT works as part of the Safer Communities Partnership which includes representatives from Health, the Local Authority, Probation and the Police. The team provides help, support and advice if you are having problems with alcohol and drugs. Sheffield DAAT works with the Safer Communities Partnership, the agencies who provide treatment, the people who receive treatment and their carers, to develop and improve treatment services, and ensure that those who need treatment get it as quickly, easily and efficiently as possible. Know your limits! What are the number of units in your favourite drinks? We also have a new partnership tackling crime and substance misuse in the city. It replaces Sheffield First for Safety and the Drug and Alcohol Action Team.
